At Chadwicks & Hacks, we’d rather see you enjoying your new BBQ, fireplace, or outdoor gear than worrying about whether you could have found a better price somewhere else. You’ve already chosen to shop with us — and we think that deserves peace of mind.
That’s why if you find the exact same product advertised by another Canadian retailer for less, we’ll match it. Whether it’s today or within 14 days of your purchase, you can buy with total confidence knowing you’re always getting our best price.
All we need is proof of the advertised price — like a photo of the ad, a screenshot, or a link to the competitor’s website. Once we verify the product is identical and in stock, we’ll adjust the price right away. Simple, fair, and stress-free.
How Our Price Match Guarantee Works
To make sure we’re comparing apples to apples, your request needs to meet the following criteria:
- Identical product — same brand, model, year, colour, size, and features.
- Brand new, sealed in original packaging — no open-box, refurbished, floor models, or scratch-and-dent items.
- Authorized Canadian retailer — competitor must have a physical presence in Canada and be selling directly to the public.
- Publicly advertised pricing — in Canadian dollars, visible to all customers (no membership pricing, hidden discounts, or points-only offers).
- In stock and available — must be ready for immediate purchase at the competitor’s location or website.
- No special circumstances — excludes pre-orders, backorders, rainchecks, discontinued items, volume buys, or bundled promotions.
- Fair comparison only — we don’t match private quotes, “under-the-counter”/"handshake" deals, or auction-style listings.
A Few Exceptions
We’re committed to offering the best value, but some situations fall outside our Price Match Guarantee:
- Price matches cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, coupons, or financing offers.
- Typographical errors, free offers, gifts with purchase, gift cards, or gift certificates are excluded.
- Delivery, assembly, labour, installation, or services provided by our Installation Department aren’t included.
- We don't match clearance, liquidation, warehouse club pricing (including Costco), or third-party/marketplace sellers (such as Amazon.ca, eBay, Kijiji).
- For out-of-town or online competitors, any shipping charges to your address will be included in the final price comparison.
- If the competitor does not ship to your location, the price match will not qualify.
- We reserve the right to verify competitor pricing and stock, and may decline a match if the offer cannot be confirmed as current or legitimate.
